In just a few days we will be celebrating the most beautiful, selfless and pure act of love – the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord. I can’t help, during this time of year, reflecting on how it was the fruit of a tree that led to our separation from Him and it was on a tree that He gave himself as the final sacrifice for our sins so we could once again, and forever, be reunited with Him. Amen!
The thing is, I still see the fruit of a tree sometimes and feel the allure. It’s only when I am deeply rooted in Him that I can overcome the pull of the “fruit” and remain in Him. Once we are deeply rooted, being fed by the Living Water, our faith increases and so does our thankfulness!
“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:7.
In honor of our Savior, who lovingly gave His life for us so that we might live, this month’s scripture writing plan is about being deeply rooted. Let’s grow deep roots into Him so that we can grow strong faith, overflow with thankfulness and bear good fruit!
This free printable (front and back) is designed to fit the Happy Planner and should fit most modern planners as well. You can also print it to use as a bookmark in your Bible. Either way, I hope you enjoy these verses and receive encouragement.
